Google Events

During my 11+ years at Google, I spent over 5 years managing external recruiting events under the People Operations umbrella. I spearheaded strategic programs to enhance innovation and culture, orchestrating impactful events for 100 to 3,000 attendees while leading over 40 volunteers. I co-founded the team with my manager, growing it to over 20 members by the time I left. I supervised a team of 3-5 and executed diverse events, including leadership roundtables, coding competitions, hackathons, open houses with demos, and tech talks, consistently boosting leads and ROI through targeted initiatives. Notably, I expanded the Code Jam competition by 80% and increased its budget by 244%. I managed a $400,000 annual budget, optimizing logistics, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations, resulting in annual savings exceeding $60,000.
